Photo Story: Festival at the Switchyard
Carrollton’s annual Switchyard festival took place in Historic Downtown on Nov. 6 from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
The festival honors the role the railroad station played in putting Carrollton on the map. The event featured food and craft vendors, live entertainment, carnival games and giveaways.
A resident of the community drives a mobility scooter through the row of food vendors. Over 20 booths were set up with a variety of cuisines such as hotdogs, alligator fries and tacos.
