Baseball to hold tryouts Jan. 26 and 27

Baseball will hold tryouts Jan. 26 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Jan. 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tryouts will be held at the baseball field.
Students are required to have a current physical from a doctor in order to try out. Coach Stephen Stone said all students not part of the team are encouraged to try out.
“Many factors go into the selection of these players including skill level, athleticism, baseball IQ, attitude, grades and behavior in classroom,” Stone said. “At tryouts, the players will be measured on speed, arm strength, hitting, fielding and pitching.”
