The swim team will compete against The Colony, Duncanville and North Hills in a swim meet on Dec. 19, starting at 6 p.m. at the Eastside Aquatic Center. The meet is intended to act like a practice for the district and region swim meets in January.

“I think I’m going to do OK,” junior Ryan Hay said. “I’m definitely going to improve my [500-meter] time, my 50-free time, and hopefully my relay times. Practices have been getting harder and since district is coming up, Coach [Jason] Chagnon is pushing us harder.”
