Photo Story: Swim Meet 9/15
The swim team held a meet at the LISD Aquatic Center on Sept. 15. Usually, meets are competitive events against the teams of other schools, but this meet was an intersquad. Members of the swim team simply competed against fellow members of the same gender.
“We’ve haven’t had a lot of time in the water,” coach Jay Chagnon said. “So this is just a place for us to look at where we’re beginning the season which goes all the way to February. It’s also more of an educational meet for parents. For example, to learn how meets work, how timing works.”
The team swam all four strokes for 50 yards: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle.
