Vestige Knowledge: Beginning to Inquire

This article is a brief investigation into the Illuminati. The resources for anyone to begin searching for answers are here. I do not know everything, and I am far from knowing everything, so research these things and decide for yourself what is true.

When people think of the word Illuminati, a number would think of celebrities and actors. Others would think of it as a conspiracy theory that doesn’t exist. The rest would think the Illuminati consists of powerful people trying to rule the world. While all of these possible conclusions are partially correct, the truth is much more complex.

From my three years of research, the exact origins of the Illuminati remain unclear. However, there are vast amounts of information for any inquisitive mind to begin his/her own quest. For this article, I draw an incomplete picture from as far back in human history to the 18th century.

We begin with a brief history of the “Illuminati,” a convenient word used to identify people seeking domination over other people, the roots of which came from Mesopotamia and the occult myth of an Aryan race. The Aryans were descendants of the Fallen Angels, from Atlantis, that interbred with humans. However, mainstream scholars generally avoid occult topics fearing a loss of reputability. On the other side, one cannot grasp a complete radar of history without understanding the significant role the occult has played. In Europe, occult doctrines were disseminated through secret societies such as the Freemasons and the Rosicrucians. They portray themselves as inheritors of ancient esoteric traditions such as mysticism, astrology, alchemy and the Kabbalah. People such as Leonardo DaVinci, Francis Bacon, Isaac Newton and Benjamin Franklin were all avid students of the occult. According to the “Encyclopedia Britannica,” “The Western tradition of occultism, as popularly conceived, is of an ancient ‘secret philosophy’ underlying all occult practices. This secret philosophy derives ultimately from Hellenistic Magic and alchemy on one hand and from Jewish mysticism on the other.”

According to “Bloodlines of the Illuminati by Fritz Springmeier, the Illuminati origins can be traced back to Mesopotamia and Aryans that conquered the ancient Harappan Indus Valley culture and the ancient Sumerian Mesopotamian culture. The Aryans are known for setting up the Mitanni, Hittite, Hurrian, Brahman, Assyrian and the Persian civilizations. Now you may have an idea of where this all came from. The main point you need to grasp is that the Illuminati consists of powerful bloodlines that developed their beliefs many centuries ago by power-hungry men that believed it was their destiny to rule over lesser people. Springmeier continues to assert that these people were into cabalism, witchcraft, freemasonry, Gnosticism, black magic and Satanism. He also mentions that powerful groups of men came together and formed what has been called the Brotherhood of the Snake, a Brotherhood that was dominant in ancient civilizations such as the Babylonians, Persians and Greeks. The Mystery Schools of Egypt are just one example of the Brotherhood.

From the Middle East, these families began to migrate to places like Venice, Switzerland, Russia, London and Amsterdam. In the book “Holy Blood, Holy Grail the Merovingian Dynasty that ruled large parts of France and Germany during the Dark Ages may have descendants today through Sigisbert IV. Also a theory developed in the book, which was later adopted in the book The DaVinci Code, was that Jesus had children with Mary Magdalene and had descendants in the Merovingians. But these theories are not verifiable and this time period is shrouded in mystery.

The first known time the word Illuminati was used can be traced back to Raymond Llull who was known as Dr. Illuminatus in the 13th century. There was also an Alumbrados operating in Spain during the 1500s.

Eventually, Springmeier claims, the Brotherhood of the Snake found and financed a man identified as Adam Weishaupt. He was used to create a new system for recruitment along with other refinements. On May 1, 1776 in Ingolstadt, Bavaria (now Germany), Weishaupt founded the Bavarian Illuminati. Eventually, the Illuminati was exposed by the Bavarian government and had to disband. It is not clear exactly how this happened but scholars use this event to denounce any ongoing conspiracy. But the families of which financed Weishaupt did survive. And Illuminism had already began spreading around the world. The Illuminati remained underground and continued the formation of a world government.

In 1797, physicist John Robinson published “Proofs of a Conspiracy Against All the Religions and Governments of Europe Carried on In the Secret Meetings of the Free Masons, Illuminati and Reading Societies. In 1798 a four volume book followed up, published by Abbe Barruel, “Memoirs of Jacobinism.” This led to more people coming out and exposing the Illuminati’s activities.

There is a large amount of documentation to prove there is an Illuminati conspiracy. Many highly prestigious and prominent people have spoken about the Illuminati, although many of those people were controlled by it.

“From the days of Spartacus–Weishaupt to those of Karl Marx, and down to Trotsky, Bela Kun, Rosa Luxembourg, and Emma Goldman, this world-wide conspiracy for the overthrow of civilisation and for the reconstitution of society on the basis of arrested development, of envious malevolence, and impossible equality, has been steadily growing,” Winston Churchill said in Illustrated Sunday Herald Feb. 8, 1920, page five.

Bringing a sense of urgency to the reader, the people of this world must know of the things that operate in the background. If we do not care about the inner working of civilization globally, we will not fix the problems of today that will continue if they remain unchecked.

“None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free,” Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe said.
