Here’s a list of back-to-school events and other information:

Aug. 15: Freshman orientation and Hawk Expo at Hebron 9th Grade Center

• 8-9 a.m.: students in Silver Wings, band, football, volleyball and cheer
• 9-10 a.m.: students with last names A-K
• 10-11 a.m.: students with last names L-Z
• 11 a.m.-12 p.m.: students unable to make it to previous sessions

Aug. 16: Senior orientation (come and go event)

• 9-11:30 a.m.
• Seniors will be able to pick up schedules, sign up for Ruckus and Rowdy, pay for parking, pay senior dues, update lunch account and order cap and gown

Aug. 16: Junior orientation (come and go event)

• 1:30-4 p.m.
• Juniors will be able to pick up schedules, pay for parking and update lunch accounts

Aug. 18: Sophomore orientation (not a come and go event)

• Orientation will begin in the auditorium in two sessions 9 -11:30 a.m. and 1:30 – 4 p.m. (students can go to either session, whichever is more convenient)
• At the start of each session there will be an assembly for students followed by a club expo of student led organizations

Additional information:

• Failure to have Skyward forms and iPad fee completed will result in not being able to pick up a schedule or attend the other stations at orientation
• Parents can email Kyla McGee at [email protected] for their username and password for Skyward
• If students wish to turn in their iPad and not pay the yearly fee, they will need to bring all items to orientation
• Broken or damaged iPads will not be collected at the time, those will be taken care of during block lunch after school starts
• Bus routes can be checked on the LISD website
• School times for the 2017- 2018 school year:

School day: 8:20 a.m. – 3:35 p.m.

Office hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Early release: 12:20 p.m.
