Silver Wings combine crisis and choreography for upcoming show
The Silver Wings’ annual Highlights show, entitled “The Art of Survival,” will have three showings: two on April 28-29 at 7 p.m. and one on May 1 at 3 p.m.
All 66 members of the Silver Wings began working on the show in November immediately after football season ended. The choreography of the show was inspired by hardships experienced in everyday life.
“Some people don’t know [the Silver Wings] do stuff other than football and pep rally routines,” Silver Wing captain Taylor Wilson said. “I think with people coming and seeing all the different [dance] routines, it educates other people on what dance actually is within the school.”
Tickets are available for $10 on the Silver Wings website.
