Great Thinkers Club sells bracelets
The Great Thinkers Club is selling wristbands to raise funds to start a reading project at Polser Elementary School to help them meet academic requirements later this year.
The club members are selling the bracelets for $2 each, and so far they have sold over 100. They plan to sell as many as they can.
“We were thinking of a way to reach a lot of people, but also make it really affordable for students,” president Danielle Choi said. “So then we thought of the bracelet idea.”
The members plan to make bookshelves and to donate books for their project.
“We want to sell as many [bracelets] we can, so we can maximize the funds that we have to be able to spend it on our literary project or any other project we have in the future,” Choi said.
