Photo Gallery: LISD Chin Festival
The annual LISD Chin Festival, a student-led celebration of the Chin people and their culture, took place Feb. 17 at Lewisville High School. The festival began 11 years ago to honor Chin students within the district, many of whom were brought to Lewisville in the early 2000s by the United Nations, seeking refuge from religious and racial persecution in Myanmar.
