The football team played the homecoming game on Oct. 22 against Marcus. The Hawks lost 14-28, and are now ranked third in the district. 

Along with the marching band and Silver Wings performances, senior Kaitlynn Hoang was crowned homecoming queen at halftime. 

“I honestly can not explain how it felt,” Hoang said. “I was so shocked and I am so beyond grateful — still can’t believe I won.”
