Photo Gallery: Operation Kindness Dogs
February 13, 2019
With the help of Student Council, Operation Kindness volunteers brought two dogs, Tiara and Tweety, to Hebron on Feb. 12. Students paid $1 to play with the dogs, and profits will go to the Operation Kindness shelter.
The Operation Kindness shelter houses both cats and dogs in need of permanent homes.
“[We bring the dogs] for all the children to have fun, and as a stress reliever in the middle of the day,” volunteer Nina Armstrong said. “[Our responses] have been excellent. Everyone’s happy and we also get some profits to support our non-profit organization.”
Because the shelters get new dogs frequently, volunteers bring them around to schools.
“The main reason is really so that everyone knows we have these dogs and they can find forever homes.” volunteer Mike Armstrong said. “Everyone’s welcome to come [to the shelter].”
